After living in our house 35 years with its original kitchen, we decided it was time for an update. We didn't plan to completely gut the area, rather do what we could to incorporate some modern trends within the footprint. Having made the decision, the most important step was to select a contractor who we knew could not only do the job but also was honorable and trustworthy to work on our project as if it were his own home.
Our decision was simple. We called you. As you will recall, I have talked with you through the years first to see if you could take on our specific project and if not, who you would suggest. Aside from our personal friendship, and, with it, the knowledge that you and your family are among the finest people we know and set the standard by living a moral and ethical life, have followed your professional career as you have incorporated your values into it. Needless to say, when I called you this time about our kitchen remodeling project, I was delighted you said you were blending remodeling into your already successful home construction business, and you would take on our project.
And so it began. There were no headaches involved with our project. You had mapped every step to perfection from initially obtaining the building permit to the final inspection and clean-up. Every person you brought into this project was a professional in his own right, and it was apparent they regarded you and your expertise with extreme respect. Most of us have come to accept the "tail wagging the dog" to get something done. Our experience with you, though, was just the opposite. You, and the folks working with you, were on the project at the precise time promised, completed the task with the same pride and master of work as if they were at their own home, plus it was obvious to me they were proud to have the opportunity to continue work with you.
I recall a couple times when I had a task on my personal "punch list"; however, I quickly saw there was no need for me to do that. You had it handled before I had a chance to discuss it.
You have made this project a pleasure which allowed me to carry my excitement of upgrading our kitchen from inception through completion. There were no surprises...you were right on target with the budget and all the scheduling, actually completing it a week earlier than your original projection. I appreciated your suggestions regarding the selection of materials, appliances, fixtures, vendors, etc. which only could come from one who has many years experience in the business. I can assure you that as we make decisions to further enhance our home, YOU will be the person we call to handle the project.
